A small static marketing page: what illogical is, screenshots, and how to install it.

Decided 2026-10-01: Cloudflare Pages, at illogical.widgets.wtf (the apex; *.illogical.widgets.wtf stays the tailnet-only block sites and must not be touched).

Content

  • Hero: one line on what it is ("a multiplexer whose sessions outlive the window, the daemon and the reboot", or better), a screenshot, the install one-liner with a copy button.
  • Three or four feature sections with screenshots: mouse-first tabs and splits; durable (reboot, daemon restart, crash); phone and other machines over Tailscale; agents as blocks (approvals and questions on your phone); a CLI for scripts and agents.
  • Install: one-liner, brew, from source; requirements (Linux or macOS arm64; Tailscale for remote access).
  • "Advanced" links: VMs/sandboxes, browser blocks, other hosts.
  • Footer: repo link, license, "a personal project"; credit Ghostty (libghostty) and the Superlogical inspiration (BRIEF.md).

Build and deploy

  • site/ in this repo: plain HTML/CSS (or a tiny Vite build), no framework needed. Works at phone width, light and dark.
  • Uses the images from #24.
  • Serves install.sh (#22) at /install.sh (copied from the repo on deploy).
  • A Cloudflare Pages project; deploy from the Forgejo workflow with wrangler pages deploy site/ (Pages can't pull from Forgejo directly). An API token as a repo secret.
  • DNS: illogical.widgets.wtf as the Pages custom domain. Check it doesn't collide with the wildcard record or the daemon's ACME DNS-01 challenges (_acme-challenge.illogical.widgets.wtf TXT records; Pages adds its own validation records).
  • Open Graph tags and an og:image (a screenshot), a favicon.

  • site/index.html: hero + one-liner with copy button, five feature sections with screenshots, the three install methods, footer. No horizontal scroll at 390px.
  • Hosting: wrangler 4 turns pages project create into Workers static assets (what Pages now runs on), so it's a Worker named illogical with wrangler.jsonc and a custom domain on the bare illogical.widgets.wtf (Universal SSL covers it). *.illogical.widgets.wtf (block sites) is untouched, and the ACME challenges are unaffected.
  • just site-deploy publishes with wrangler's OAuth login on geek. Not automated in CI: that would need a Cloudflare API token with Workers edit as a repo secret.
  • /install.sh is served as text/plain.
